Coaching is a partnership between individuals where clients set the agenda and seek to create changes in their lives and utilize the resources and support of a coach to reach the stated goal.
All of us operate from a particular perspective on what we believe is true. We have a perspective, a context for everything. Sometimes these contexts get in the way of what we want from life. Transformational coaching helps us to to shift our perspective, challenges the status quo, and then helps us to see solutions -- ways of doing and being --that were impossible from our previous perspective.

A coaching client is not someone who needs to be 'fixed' or 'changed' but is seen as a complete and whole human being - an equal partner in a coaching relationship. The coaching client already has all of the answers needed to achieve the desired goals. It is a coach's job to support clients in discovering those answers through accessing their own innate wisdom and inner strength.
A coach is an skilled professional dedicated to supporting you in realizing your full potential as a human being. A coach is a trusted partner in this process, one who holds you accountable to what you say you want and provides a container for that process to unfold.
Through the coaching relationship you gain
Coaching is a trusted partnership between coach and client. The first step is to meet with the coach to determine if this is what you really want to do. To request an initial conversation with Pat, click here.
Once you have made the choice to work with Pat, you will explore exactly what it is that you want to get out of your coaching sessions. This creates a roadmap for the coaching engagement. You will determine outcomes and create the structure in which to work.
Usually coaching sessions take place weekly and last approximately 60 minutes. These may be done in person, on the phone, or a combination of both.
